78th Street Garden Harvest, Sept. 11, 2010, 9 a.m. to noon, 1919 NE 78th Street, Vancouver. Join volunteers as they harvest the first 5,000 pounds of carrots from the largest of Loaves & Fishes Centers gardens. For information, contact Chelsea at gardencoordinator@lfcpdx,org or phone 503.747.8684.

Beaverton Loaves & Fishes Center Pancake Breakfast, Sept. 11, 2010, 9 to 11 a.m., 5550 SW Hall Blvd., Beaverton. Tickets are $10 for an all-you-can-eat pancake extravaganza! Tickets are $6 and available at the door. Phone 503.643.8352 for more info.

Hillsboro Loaves & Fishes Center Third Annual Spaghetti Dinner, Sept. 25, 5 to 7:30 p.m., Hillsboro Methodist Church, 168 NE 8th Street. Come for a traditional spaghetti dinner and enjoy Mexcian folklorico dancers. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children age 12 and younger and $20 for a family of up to six people.
