Thanksgiving at Loaves & Fishes Centers 2009
 You have two opportunities to volunteer for the Thanksgiving season at Loaves & Fishes Centers, The Meals-On-Wheels People:
1. Volunteer as a Donate Dinner greeter or store coordinator
2. Volunteer to deliver meals on Thanksgiving Day
1. Donate Dinner
November 21 to 25 - Participating Grocers
While shopping for your holiday meal this season, "Donate Dinner" to a homebound senior. Simply add the cost of a meal or two to your grocery bill when you check out at participaint grocers.
This event utilizes 1,500 volunteers to distribute Donate Dinner cards at the participating grocers during the five day campaign. This is a great opportunity to get your business, service organization or church involved in a charitable activity.

2. Thanksgiving Day Drivers
November 26 - Portland metro area
Approximately 300 volunteers are needed to deliver a hot, turkey dinner with all the trimmings to homebound seniors on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009.
Deliveries will take place between 10:30 a.m. and noon and will involve four to five stops.
Volunteer registration for Thanksgiving is now closed.
