Valentine-A-Gram, the popular holiday gift box that features Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Rolls, have an added bonus this year. All buyers will be entered into a drawing for a three day-two night stay at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas along with airfare for two. Proceeds from Valentine-A-Gram support Loaves & Fishes Centers, The Meals-On-Wheels People.
Volunteers will deliver Valentine-A-Grams to individuals and businesses on the morning of Friday, February 12, to benefit the more than 5,000 area seniors served by Loaves & Fishes Centers daily.
Each Valentine-A-Gram includes two delicious Cinnabons, a packet of fresh ground Seattle’s Best Coffee, orange juice from Sun Orchard Premium Juices, a jar of Cinnabon’s famous Makarra cinnamon, a designer travel mug, a package of Cinnabon Cinnamon Almonds and a gift certificate for a Jamba Juice. The cost for each Valentine-A-Gram is $29.95.
All of the products for the gift boxes are donated so that 100 percent of the money raised through the sale of Valentine-A-Grams goes to support the Meals-On-Wheels program. Hundreds of people who volunteer to deliver Valentine-A-Grams make the event possible each year.
Cinnabon owners John Whittaker and Steve Foltz said their support of the 15th Annual Valentine-A-Gram fundraiser has become a tradition that illustrates the importance of corporate giving.
“Both Steve and I, as do all our Cinnabon employees, feel very proud of the opportunity to support an organization as deserving as Loaves & Fishes Centers,” Whittaker said. “The fact that 100 percent of the purchase price goes directly to providing food to seniors makes this an extra-special event.”
Valentine-A-Gram relies on more than 450 volunteers to deliver the gift boxes. Deliveries take about an hour and begin at 7:30 a.m. Pick-up points are available on both the east and west sides of Portland and in Vancouver.
